English Inc Aland, Danish West Indies, British Postal Agency at St Thomas, Denmark, Schleswig, Faroes, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, booklets, miniature sheets,;Framas, design index ; Philatelic Exporter review, courtesy of David Rennie (October 2008): Seven years of new issues and three new design indexes means there are about fifty more pages than the 5th edition published in 2001.; This edition is now in full colour, apart from a few early classics, and includes issues into the early part of 2008 for the main countries.; Booklets are also included in separate lists, identified by the pane numbers and make-up. The new design indexes cover Denmark, Finland and Norway. The existing Swedish index has of course been revised. All the listings of the Machine Labels have been revised and expanded, but as yet remain unpriced. Does anyone buy and sell these items? A listing of the early Danish Numeral cancellations has been included. Naturally prices have been revised, and there are huge numbers of increases compared with the previous edition, though there are occasional reductions. Some editorial comment regarding the recent trend would have been useful, and I cannot believe there have been no number changes or additions, other than new issues, since the last edition.  |
