This is the first volume of the new edition of the Michel Overseas Catalogue, the other parts to be published over the next two or three years. The previous edition was dated 2004 so this one now extends the new issues to June 2007 for Canada, and August 2007 for the UN (New York) and USA issues. Other countries included are Hawaii, Canal Zone and St Pierre & Miquelon.

The major additions editorially this time are the inclusion of priced lists of USA Booklet Panes and Booklets. Also new is a section devoted to the "Folienblätter" - unfolded Self-adhesive Booklets dispensed from Bank Teller machines.

Useful design/thematic indexes are provided for the USA and also the UN Flag series, but not for Canada.

Some 30,000 price up-dates have been made since the last edition. This is hardly surprising as the USA market has been very active, and also because of the weakness of the dollar against the euro.

Just over 600pp in the familiar Michel limp format, now with a purple cover.; The illustrations are in black and white.
