The latest edition follows the revised format of the previous edition, but has some additional information to assist collectors.; The addition of stamp sizes will enable the correct mount to be selected. There are now three summaries for year sets of GDR, Berlin and FRG with catalogue price sums and an additional price column based on dealers offers for complete year sets. There are also summary tables of the modern definitive sets to enable quick location and pricing.

The editor comments that there have been numerous "and sometime high price changes." This is expecially true for the highly-active market for Plebiscite Zones, Gdansk, and Memel, but there are also inescapable price reductions for post-war issues from 1949 to 1955.
